SEASON UNDERWAY
The 2009 season will see the Suggs Racing Team competing in both the Golden State Challenge 410 series on weekends and the GLR Investments Ocean Speedway 360 series on Friday nights. In addition there will be various World of Outlaw races and specialty events like the Dirt Cup in Skagit, Washington. The 2009 season will hold approximately 50 or more races.

• Watsonville & Tulare Weekend
  JUNE 30, 2009 --- The weekend was kind of a mixed bag. Friday night was another round of the GLR 360 Series at Watsonville’s Ocean Speedway. There were 25 cars and Evan qualified an uncharitably slow time and wound-up 18th. No excuses and no explanation!....(more)
   
• Weekly Report - Cottage Grove
  JUNE 17, 2009 --- Last weekend was to be a Golden State Challenge road trip double header in Oregon but again, Mother Nature changed things up a bit.
  Saturday night was to be our first GSC race at Medford’s Southern Oregon Speedway in two years but at about six PM and just as hot laps was ending it started to rain heavily....(more)
    
• Ocean Recap & Quincy Rainout
  JUNE 7, 2009 --- This was to be another two race weekend but surprisingly Mother Nature stepped in and washed out Saturday’s Golden State Challenge Series 410 race scheduled for Quincy. It is too bad because the rural burg with the large paperclip track has just about the most enthusiastic fans around. It is always good to see them. We only go there once a season so hopefully next year will be a different story....(more)
